It's essential to have a strong and stable upper body to aid in checking the horse, holding the mallet, protecting the back, in ride-offs and rotating in the saddle.
Today’s workout incorporates compound movements that target the arms and core muscles.
Superman with arm and leg abductors
Lateral Bear Crawls Left Side
Lateral Bear Crawls Right Side
Plank to Press up Position
Triceps Dips (with bent or straight legs)
30-50 seconds per exercise
Keep core engaged to avoid putting any added stress on to the back*
